Governor Adeleke Distributes free Fertilizer to Osun Farmers.
It is not a gain saying if we say Mr Governor is a friend of all in Osun state, as free bags of fertilizer were distributed to Osun farmers across all the Local Governments in Osun State including Boripe Local Government,Iragbiji where One Hundred and fifteen bags of fertilizer were released to boost food production in the local Government .
This is aimed at boosting food production in Osun state.
During the distribution at the council secretariat,A member of Osun State House of Assembly representing Boripe and Boluwaduro state constituency,HoniFemi Popoola who monitored the distribution of fertilizers assured them of more dividend of democracy and charged them to use the fertilizer appropriately
Director of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Adepoju Kehinde Gbenga commended the state Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on this giant stride.
The bags of fertilizer were directly handed over to the Association of Farmers of Nigeria (AFN) for proper distributon to real farmers in the Local Government.
He further warned the association not to sell the products, since it is provided freely for all the farmers and another set of consignment will soon arrive to capture others.
The chairman of the AFN, Prince Azeez Omoloye thanked Mr Governor, for providing succor to the farmers in the state
He therefore assured the governor of their continued support.
Baale Agbe of Iragbiji land, Chief Peter Adewoyin Adetoyese also appreciated the state governor for this laudable stride in boosting food production in the state.
He promised to collaborate with Farmers Association in the Local Government to get the dream realized.
