PCRC National Chairman Attends CARSPO Conference in Owerri

Following his arrival in Owerri, Imo State, the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), *Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan,* proceeded to the *Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers (CARSPO),* where he is attending *as a Special Guest.*

The Conference and Retreat, scheduled for *21st–23rd September 2026,* is being held in *Owerri, Imo State,* with the theme: *“Developing a Nigeria Police Road Map for Effective Management of Security During Elections.”*
The National Chairman was accompanied to the conference by *Barr. Okafor, Dr. Collins Obi, the S.S.A. on Media and Strategies, the National Coordinator, Safe School, Amb. Samuel Akintoye, the PCRC Imo State Command Chairman, Evangelist Dr. Bethram Ozodimma, the Imo State Safe School Coordinator, Chief Okenze Moris, and other members of the Imo State PCRC Executive.*
The presence of the PCRC National Chairman at the strategic conference underscores the Committee’s commitment to strengthening the partnership between the Police and the community, particularly in promoting effective security management, community engagement and a safe environment for all citizens.
The PCRC delegation is expected to participate actively in the engagements surrounding the conference while also advancing the Committee’s Safe School Initiative and other community-policing programmes in the South-East.
