“Good Roads Promote Socio economic development at the Grassroots Level” Hon Babalola.

The Caretaker chairman,Boripe Local Government,Hon. Wasiu Kayode Babalola, has advocated for socio economic development at the grassroots which is believed to be an instrument of change.
Hon Kayode stated this while flagging off grading of roads across the council area.
According to him,”In any democratic setting, there would be a rapid infrastructural development at three tiers of Government, Federal, State and Local level, because those at the helm of affairs would like to record success in the office.
” Hon. Wasiu Kayode Babalola, started grading of 6 Km roads across Iragbiji town before heavy downpour.
In his remarks, when declared grading of roads opened, he commended the state Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke for the opportunity given to him to serve his people.
He said the grading will help the farmers to move their farm produce to the town, and this will reduce high cost of food stuff in Iragbiji and its environ.
Also, the Council boss maintained that the department of works headed by Engr. Yisau Abesin will monitor the road grading.
Among the roads to be graded are Lagbua Avenue at Ward 1, Sangoyoyin Community , Olorunda Temidire both at Ward 3, and Gbanla Community at Ward 4.
At the flag off ceremony were both politicians and career officers including Head of Local Government Administration, Builder Tijani Olalekan, and all directors from each department of Local Government.
