Otunba Arowosola re-elected as Zone 11 PCRC Chairman,as other new Executives Emerge.

Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC) election in Zone Eleven was conducted today in Osogbo,Osun State Capital to elect another set of Executive into offices.

Otunba Obafemi Arowosola who had served his first term as the zonal Chairman comprising Osun and Oyo states was re-elected for his second term.

The National Chairman of  PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan commended Otunba Arowosola for his achievements during his first tenure including  construction of zonal officer’s mess at Zone 11 and other monumental achievements.

He also applauded the Inspector General of police, Olatunji Diisu for his regular support towards  activities of PCRC in the nation.

He further charged the newly inaugurated executive members to work as a team in  promoting the mission and vision of the founders of PCRC over four decades ago.

The National Chairman also  unveiled some of his own achievements including facilitation  of overseas scholarship for seventeen children of policemen who died in active service which covers one beneficiary per zone.

He agitated for membership drive and  urged the new Executives to work together as a team .

The  representative of AIG,Zone 11,DCP Jayeoba Joseph Idowu Director of Finance and  Administration  appreciated members for sacrifice and contributions  for promoting peace and security throughout the country.

He Sees members as men and women of integrity and assured members of continued collaboration.

He further advised members to always enlighten  various  communities  of consciousness of security in the society.

The Chairman Electoral Committee Ambassador Gabriel Ariyo charged the new Executives to ensure that the zone  stands out among other Zones in the country.

The elected Chairman,Otunba Arowosola assured the national delegates unprecedented achievements during his second tenure.

He also seized the medium to name Comrade Bukola Elufadejin as his Media Assistant.

A fund raising of  1 million  Naira appeal fund for purchase of Camera for the use of police in the zone was raised where substantial amount was realised.
