Deputy Directors Celebrate Colleagues as they Bow out of Osun Local Government Service.

The forum of Deputy directors of social development and information of Osun State Local Government held a send forth and retirement ceremony for four of its members, Mrs Oladipo Funke, Mrs Oni Bose, Mrs Abosede Ibikunle and Mr Zakariya Oyewo at the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) event hall ,Dada Estate .Osogbo
The chairman of the forum of Deputy Directors Mr Pius Adebola Adenuga, in his welcome address which he titled”A new beginning”appreciated God and admonished the retirees that leaving active service is not the end of life.
He also said in his words of advice that the retirees should hit the ground running as they are only retired but not tired.
The chairman, buttressed this in his speech to energize the morale of the retired officers as they are starting a new life after a meritorious service.
Pastor Bunmi Ibiloye, a retired State Community Development UNICEF replication Programme officer in Osun State challenged those in active service to help humanity ;plan for the future and contribute more to the development of the state
He advised the retirees not to allow fear of unknown to take over them :put hopes in God,and engage in regular exercise.
The Head of Local Government Administration,Ifedayo Local Government,Alhaja Wumi Olagunju admonished the retirees to remain active and remain relevant in the society
A popular veteran Yoruba actor and Balogun of Oba Ile Professor(Chief) Kola Oyewo who graced the occasion in honour of one of his blood relation; full of humour created a pleasant scene by celebrating the retirees.
The retired officers were Mrs Oladipo Funke,Mrs Oni Bosede,Mrs Ibikunle Abosede and Mr Zakariyah Ayooye Oyewo.
The event was graced by eminent personalities including religious leaders, captains of industry and high chiefs from Oba Ile in Osun state
