Monarch Receives Instrument of Office in Modakeke.

Another history was made Modakeke on Thursday when Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola was crowned by Basorun of Oyo as the new Ogunsua of Modakeke.

The occasion was attended by huge crowd .

In his remarks, the Basorun of Oyo appeal to the entire people in Modakeke to give their maximum support to the new monarch so as to elevate the community to a greater height .

After this advice, the high chief of Oyo crowned the monarch.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi the Ooni of Ife who is the Paramount ruler in the land urged all and sundry to rally round the new monarch.

He advocated for peace in Modakeke and lfe land in general and urged the new monarch to use his connections to develop youths in both Modakeke And lfe at large.

While affirming that Modakeke and Ife are one, Ooni of Ife prayed that peace will continue to reign in Ife land, Osun State and Nigeria

At the height of the event, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola the Executive Governor of Osun State congratulated the new monarch for being alive to received the Glory.

He commended the efforts of the Kingmakers and the entire community for allowing peace to reign during the process of selecting the monarch.

Governor Oyetola thereafter presented the instrument of authority and staff of office to the new Oba amidst pomp and pageantry.
