Ikirun Community Woos Japanese Investors To Build Water Filter Factory

The Head of Local Government Administration, Ifelodun Local Government, Mrs Ikeola Adedeji have eulogized the commitment of some Ikirun indigenes for taking the development of their town as priority.
She stated this while receiving a team of Japanese investors who paid her a courtesy visit at Ifelodun Local Government Secretariat complex .
The delegate was led by Mr Fujimoto Akimasa who has in company the head of technical group Mr Myoraku Town, Mallam Yusuf Isa Sulaiman .
The investment was facilitated by Prince Mukaila Adeyemi .
The highlight of the programme was the promise made by the visitors to construct a Water – filter factory in Ikirun Community which would be handed over to the Community .
The team added that project will require back – up from Ikirun Community in the areas of land, project monitoring and security in order to sustain the project.
Speaking earlier, the National President of National Ikirun Progressive Union (NIPU);Alhaji Dr Mustafa Olawuyi extolled the sterling qualities of Head of Local Government,Mrs Ikeola Adedeji especially in the areas of prompt response to the needs of Ikirun Community.
He also recalled that the Japanese investors who are into Manufacturing of Yamaha products were known for production of quality appliances years back.

At the occasion were prominent Ikirun Community Leaders such as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Yakubu Fabiyi; Chief Balogun of Ikirunland, Prince Architect Lekan Usman; Alhaj Dauda Ayantayo; Captain Fatai Ajibolu;Dr Tunde Lawal, Mrs Oladipupo,Dr Rasheed Adetoro, and many others.
Directors of various departments and other Principal Officers were also in attendance.
