The Executive Chairman,Olorunda Local Government, Hon Obafemi Kolade has rejoiced with his excellency,the executive Governor of Osun State,Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on his re-election during the last governorship election in the state.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Director of Information of the Council,Elder Bukola Elufadejin.
The Chairman described Governor’s victory as a divine one and wishes of the people of Osun.
“Looking at the nature of the election,it is undoubtedly a divine one’.the statement added
Hon Obafemi therefore admonished the governor not to loose focus in delivering dividends of democracy across the state.
Governor Adeleke, candidate of the Accord, polled 511,067 votes to defeat his closest rival, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mr. Bola Oyebamiji, who secured 444,815 votes in the election.
The council boss said it looked forward to a successful second term that will commence in November for the Adeleke administration and greater development across the state.
