Osogbo Local Government Unveils New Primary Health Care Center at Fiwasaye Area.

In a significant milestone for , Fiwasaye community, Osogbo Local Government has officially opened a new Primary Health Care Center.

The councils Head of Local Government Administration,Prince Adejorin in his opening remarks acknowledged the contributions a community leader ,Chief Sunday Adeyemo, also known as “Kester B,” for his dedication to the progress of Fiwasaye community.

The councils Director of Primary Health Care ,Dr Adebayo Olusegun assured that staff have been deployed from other health centers and drugs have been provided for the smooth operation of the facility.

Dr. Olusegun congratulated the community on the new health center, describing it as a “great achievement.”

He noted that the facility would not operate on a 24-hour basis initially due to staff shortages but expressed optimism that the situation would improve soon. He urged the community to bear with the health workers, who would be available from 8 am to 6 pm daily, and requested that security guards be provided to protect the facility’s valuables.

The Baale of Fiwasaye Community, Oba Sheik Tajudeen Ayoola Arikalamu, appreciated the efforts of the local government and acknowledged Chief Adeyemo’s contributions to the community’s progress.

He prayed for peace, good health, and progress for the community and the local government staff.

The new health center is expected to benefit school children, pregnant women, and the community at large

The ceremony, was attended by dignitaries, including the Head of Local Government Administration, Prince Kolawole Adejorin, and the Director of Primary Health Care, Dr. Adebayo Olusegun,Director of Administration and General Services,Mr Oyelakin Dotun, Director of Budget and statistics,Mr Ogundijo Rotimi,Mr Otemuyiwa Augustus,Director of Agriculture and food security,Mrs Olayiwola Olukemi, Director of information, Youth, Sports and Culture and other deputy directors.

. With its opening, the Osogbo Local Government has demonstrated its commitment to improving the health and well-being of its citizens.
