Osun Election: INEC Presents Certificate of Return to Governor Adeleke

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke with his Certificate of Return following his victory in the state governorship election.

The presentation took place in Osogbo on Wednesday, formally recognising Adeleke as the winner of Saturday’s poll.

Adeleke secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 444,815 votes. Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came third with 17,180 votes.
