Governor Adeleke Felicitates Ex-Governor Oyetola at 72, Preaches Peace and Unity in Osun

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has felicitated with his predecessor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday in Osogbo by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke described Oyetola’s life as a journey of God’s blessings in both private and public service.
The Governor, who just returned to the country last night after a short vacation in the United Kingdom, said birthdays provide an opportunity to review the past and present for a better future.
He commended the former governor for his contributions to the development of Osun State and Nigeria at large.
Governor Adeleke, while noting that politics should unite rather than divide, said the Minister’s birthday presents a fresh opportunity for Osun leaders to unite for the growth of the state, especially after the tense August governorship election.
He added that in line with the admonition of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Osun leaders must build bridges of partnership and brotherhood.
“In line with the admonition of our dear President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Osun leaders are encouraged to build bridges of partnership, collaboration and brotherhood using the birthday of our brother, the former governor, as a pathway to peace, unity and progress for our dear state.
“My beautiful gift for the minister on his birthday is a dove of peace and unity. I felicitate with the leader of APC in Osun state. I rejoice with a minister who is turning around the national blue economy sector,” the Governor stated.
Governor Adeleke wished the Iragbiji-born politician a prosperous birthday celebration and more blissful years ahead.
