Ifelodun Council Boss Congratulates Gov Adeleke on Election Victory, Osun Creation Anniversary

The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government,Ikirun, who also doubles as the Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Osun State chapter, Honourable Sarafadeen Awotunde has congratulated His Excellency, Sanator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on his victory in the just concluded Osun State gubernatorial election held on Saturday 15th August, 2026.
Hon Awotunde also felicitates with the good people of Osun State on the occasion of thirty five years of creation of the state.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Head of Local Government Administration, Barrister Kikelomo Oyebade and made available by the Director of Information, Youths, Sports and Culture, Pastor Sam Abioye.
The ALGON Chairman Congratulates the governor on his re-election bid and hails his doggedness for his ability to stand firm and tackle the storms wagged against him by the political giants not in Osun alone but across the nation before and during the election.
The release described Mr. Governor’s re-election as nothing but direct result of his good deeds.
According to the Council Boss, “Governor Adeleke is a performing governor with no match among his peers. This man has already built a very solid trust and had written his name in the hearts of the people of Osun State. There is nothing anyone can do or say to blackmail him that will make people to change their minds towards this honourable man.the statement added.
“Let us see for ourselves, Adeleke has executed more projects than any of his predecessors. And I am not talking about mere projects, but projects that have direct impacts on the people of the state.”
Meanwhile, Honourable Awotunde expressed profound gratitude to the people of Osun State, especially to the good people of Ifelodun Local Government for their support and dedication towards ensuring the deserved victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Even, in the face of molestations, harassments and intimidations from the mighty ones,he then salutes the courage of the state’s civil servants for their loyalty to the present administration, even when the road was rough and tough. He assured that their loyalty and dedications will not be taken for granted.
The ALGON Chairman, honourable Sarafadeen Awotunde also congratulated the good citizens of Osun State on the occasion of thirty five years anniversary of the state. He stated that the State is witnessing rapid development under the present administration and urged all and sundry to support governor Adeleke to bring positive transformation to the people of Osun State.
The Chairman prays that Osun State will experience peace and prosperity and the good citizens of the state will enjoy the best infrastructures under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
