NULGE Election:Osun FPS Felicitates Dr Ogungbangbe on His Re-election

The Osun State Council of the Fourth -Estate Professional Society (FPS) has congratulated Dr. Nathaniel Kehinde Ogungbangbe on his electoral victory as he got re-elected as Osun NULGE President for another term of four years yesterday.
In a press statement jointly issued and signed by Comrades Adedapo Owolabi and Adeoye Adegbohungbe, Chairman and Secretary respectively and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, the Fourth -Estate Professional Society rejoiced with Comrade Ogungbangbe who it said secured a second term consequent upon his remarkable achievements in the past four years.
Dr.Kehinde Ogungbangbe, the incumbent President had in a keenly contested NULGE election for the presidency of the union which was held at the Western Hotel, Aisu Road,Ede defeated Comrade lsafiade Adewuyi by 184 to 105 votes.
The Osun FPS similarly congratulated Comrade Olanrewaju lyabo F. who was elected Deputy President and six other state officers elected also for a term of four years.
The other six officers elected namely Comrades Olayanju lsrael Ayobami as State Welfare Officer, Owoeye Olalekan David as State Publicity Secretary, Rafiu Kabiru A. as State Young Worker, Abiona Rafiu as State Auditor, Adepoju Taofeek Olalekan as State Treasurer and Ogunkanmi Oluwatoyin as State Women Chairperson are to work with Dr.Ogungbangbe in steering the ship of the state NULGE in the next four years.
The Osun FPS Press statement particularly viewed the re-election of Dr.Ogungbangbe as President and the election of Olayanju lsrael Ayobami as State Welfare Officer as putting square pegs in square holes. the statement added,”
The impressive performance of Dr.Ogungbangbe during his first term has unequivocally paved the way for his re-election as one good turn,they say, deserves another.”
In the case of Comrade Olayanju lsrael Ayobami, the press release noted that his good performance and exemplary leadership style as Ejigbo Local Government NULGE Chairman and Chairman of forum of Local Government NULGE Chairmen in the state similarly paved way for his election as State Welfare Officer.
While praying for a successful tenure of office for the new state NULGE executives, the FPS called for unity of purpose amongst them and urged them to prioritize LG workers’ welfare for their names to be written in gold.
The statement conclusively expressed the eagerness of the body of pen professionals in the State of the Living Spring for a robust relationship and to synergize with the union with a view to taking it to enviable heights.
