Ife South West LCDA Inaugurates New Community Development Council_

Ife South West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Awolowo town, Olode, has officially inaugurated its new Community Development Council. The ceremony took place today, February 5, 2025, at the council’s conference hall.

The event began with an opening prayer led by Mr. Oyenpemi, Director of Procurement. Mr. Ayoola Wasiu Bolaji, Head of Local Government Administration, welcomed the new executive and expressed gratitude to God for their participation. He praised the people of Ife South West for their consistent support of the government.

Mr. Bolaji charged the new executive to be good representatives of their community and to work closely with the government to identify opportunities for internal revenue generation. He also emphasized the importance of being watchdogs for revenue generation.

Additionally, Mr. Adeniji Amos, Director of Administration and General Services, offered prayers for the outgoing executive’s successful tenure. The motion for dissolution was moved by Mr. Oladimeji Adebayo and seconded by Mr. Afolabi Rotimi. The ceremony concluded with the swearing-in and oath-taking of the new executive.

The newly inaugurated executive members include:

– Chairman: Adesoye Rauf Kolawole
– Deputy Chairman: Mr. Emmanuel Oyetunji
– Treasurer: Mr. Adediran Racheal Abiodun
– Women Representative: Salawu Grace Taiwo
– Financial Secretary: Zakariyau Arisekola
– Secretary: Elder Adesuyi David
– Vice Secretary: Gbolade Ademola
– Project Coordinator: Dada Ezekiel
– Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.): Amusan Moruf Isola

The new executive is poised to drive development and growth in Ife South West LCDA.
