New Community Development Council Executives Emerge in Ede South Local Government

Members of the Community Development Council in Ede South Local Government on Tuesday 28th of May, 2024 elected new Executive Members to run the affairs of the association.
In his opening remarks, The Director of Social Development And Information in the Local Government, Mr Tiamiyu Adewusi who presided over the election commended the entire members of the association for their cooperation and display of maturity in the build up to the election.
He equally went back to memory lane by analysing how it used to be in the past whereby communal efforts the development of towns and villages were the order of the day .
He urged the CDC members to be up and doing for the development of their various communities saying government alone cannot do all.
The  election  was  held  in  a  serene  and  conducive  atmosphere  and  the  following  people  emerged as  the  new  executives  of  the  body:
— Mr.  Salam  Agbajelola –  Chairman
— Mr.  Adewumi  Aminu –  Vice Chairman
 – Mr.Adabanija  Akinjide –  Secretary
— Mr.  Buari  Asimi  Ayofe  – Treasurer
— Mr.  Adewumi  James –  Auditor
— Mr  Adeleke  Bamidele  Project
         Coordinator
— Mr.  Tiamiyu  Kazeem –  P.R.O
— Mrs.  Olawoyin  Sarat –  Women  Representative
— Mr.  Adesina Adebowale                          – Financial  Secretary
 — Mr.  Tijani  Surajudeen –  Ass.  Secretary. 
The new Chairman, Mr Salam Agbajelola in his acceptance speech was grateful to Almighty God for his emergence as the Chairman.
He then solicited for the support of his Executive Members as well as the entire members of the association promising to run an open door administration.
In their separate advice to the new Executive Members, Mr. Salami Adeleke from Ifesowapo Community Development Association and Princess Folasade Ogunkoya from Itesiwaju C.D.A, both preached love and total cooperation among members and also enjoined all other members to work together with the new Executive for the betterment of their various communities.
The Leader of the election monitoring team from the Ministry of Rural Development And Community Affairs who is also a Director in the Ministry, Mr. Lateef Adedapo enjoined the new Executives to carry all other members along in running of the association assuring them that the government of the day under Governor Ademola Adeleke have interest in the development of various communities.
