HLGA,one Other Bow Out After 35 Years of Meritorious Service

The staff of Irepodun South LCDA in Erin-Osun, Osun State, rolled out drum to celebrate the retirement of two dedicated staff members, Mrs. Fakayode Busayo Olubukola and Mrs. Yusuf Sherifat Adeola, on January 3, 2025.
Mrs. Fakayode, the Head of Local Government Administration, was praised for her exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the development and growth of the Local Service in Osun
The Director of Administration and General Services, Mrs. Ogunyele Rasidat, commended the retirees for their diligent service and good human relationships.
Mrs. Fakayode, accompanied by her husband, Engineer Fakayode Olaleye, expressed gratitude to the management and staff for making her stay worthwhile and appreciated the gift presented to them.
Mrs. Fakayode’s outstanding service was recognized with several awards, including Best Staff of the Year in Ifedayo Local Government in 1994, and an Award of Excellence as the best Female Head of Local Government Administration in 2023 by the State NULGE Women Wing.
The retirement of these two dedicated staff members marks the end of an era, but their legacy will continue to inspire and motivate others.
