2024 Christmas Celebration: Osun FPS Fetes Christians
The Osun State Council of the Fourth -Estate Professional Society (FPS)has felicitated christians all over the world on the occasion of this year’s Christmas day celebration.
In a Christmas message jointly signed by Comrades Adedapo Owolabi and Adeoye Adegbohungbe, Chairman and Secretary respectively and made available to news men in Osogbo,the body of pen professionals in the State of the Living Spring called on christians across the globe to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ who the celebration revolves around.
The body of journalists who identified the virtues of love, forgiveness, kindness, humility and peaceful co-existence stressed the need for a Christ -driven society which it said would help to eliminate all the vices and injustice at all levels pervading our country.
The message further urged Christians and Nigerians to emulate the selfless sacrifice of Jesus Christ and thus called on the citizens of the country to rededicate themselves for the betterment of fellow Nigerians leveraging on the sacrifice Jesus made to redeem humanity.
” Let’s use this occasion to show kindness to one another especially the vulnerable among us ,thus the well-to-do in the society should be remembered to provide support for the poor in meeting their needs in the spirit of this season and beyond.”the message added.
