Osun Trade Fair 2024:Olorunda Local Government Exhibits Products Amidst Funfare

Olorunda Local Government of Osun State showcased indigenous products today at the ongoing Trade fair in Osogbo,Osun state.
The Trade Fair Organized by The Ministry of Commerce and Industry,in collaboration with Osun State Chamber TVs of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture held at the Trade Fair center along Iwo road,Ido Osun is aimed at identifying, Showcasing and promoting the local products,raw materials as well as the items produced using the raw materials found in each of the Local Government areas .
The event which served as a great avenue for Olorunda Local Government to showcase to the world at large, some things such as Agricultural products like cassava and cassava flakes, palm oil, yams, Cocoa, traditional medicines to mention just a few as means of income and livelihood if harnessed properly.
Vocational centre where able bodied and people with disabilities learn different vocations was also showcased.
The acting Director General of Osun Chambers of Commerce,Industry,Mines and Agriculture, Mr Tunji Ajayi encouraged participants to delve more in showcasing finished or processed products .
He opined that if agricultural products can be further processed it will create enabling environment for investors to do business.
Top career officers in the council were led to the epoch making event by the Head Of Local Government Administration, Comrade Titi Olajuyigbe.
Other notable dignitaries at the event include the Acting Head Of Local Government Administration of Olorunda North LCDA, Sanitarian Mrs Adeyemo Abimbola and the Acting Head Of Local Government Administration Of Olorunda Area Council, Ilie, Mr Adelowotan Abiodun Olugbenga as well as Directors from all the Departments in the entire local council.
Members of staff in their large number led by the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Lukman Olakuleyin also joyfully graced the occasion.
The Trade Fair is an annual programme organized by the Osun State Ministry Of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Osun Chamber Of Commerce, where all local governments in Osun showcase to the whole world, their products, natural resources and talents.
