Governor Adeleke Charges Local Government Directors to Be More Proactive and Productive.

In a bid to improve capacity of workforce for productivity and efficiency,the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has charged the Local Government Directors in the state to be more proactive and productive in their daily service delivery in the state.

The Governor stated this while declaring open a 3- day Training Workshop for selected directors across cadres in the local government service of Osun State

The Governor was represented by the Commissioner for Local
Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Dosu Babatunde.

The workshop titled “Strategic Leadership Workshop For Directors in Local Government held at ADMUS Hotel in Ede between 23rd and 25th September

According to him, ‘Local Government system is crucial in the development of the state’.

He further enjoined participants to be active during the 3 -day Workshop.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Femi Ogundun enjoined the participants to take the workshop serious in order to justify the huge resources committed to human capacity building in the state..

The Principal Consultant and Group Managing Director ,BetterWays, Dr Dare Victor assured the state Government of perfect delivery owing to his years of experience in the consulting Job.

He called on all participants to be determined and focused in achieving greatly during the workshop.

Directors were selected from all the ten departments in the Local Government.
The workshop was organised by the State Government through Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in collaboration with the Local Government Service Commission.

In attendance, are Director of Administration, Training and Supplies, Mr Shonibare Sola; Director of Appointment, Promotion and Discipline, Mrs Esther Ajibade and Director of Finance and Account, Alhaji Bashir Ajani,Local Government Service Commission.
