Osun State Woos Investors at Industrial Investment Summit
..., Egbedore Local Government Showcases Local Products.

Osogbo, Osun State – On September 14, 2024 the five-day Osun State Industrial Investment Summit came to a successful close at the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola Multi-Purpose Hall, Osun State University, Osogbo.
At the grand finale, the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince. Kola Adewusi, declared the five-day summit closed on behalf of Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke.
Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke commended all local governments for their full participation and contributions to the summit’s success.
“Your exhibitions demonstrate the wealth of talent and resources in our state, and we will support you to unlock your full potential.”
The summit, themed “Connecting Progress with Purpose,” featured exhibitions by local governments, including Egbedore Local Government, which showcased their local products under the leadership of the three Heads of Local Government Administration, (HLGA),Mr. Alao Adewale, HLGA, Egbedore Local Government, Awo,Dr. (Sanitarian) Akinwumi Temitope, HLGA, Egbedore South LCDA, Ido Osun and Mrs. Akintola Mary Kehinde, HLGA, Egbedore Area Council, Okinni
Their collaborative efforts ensured the successful showcasing of Egbedore Local Government’s local products, such as:Artisanal crafts,Gravel,Agricultural produce (palm oil, plantain, sweet potatoes,yams, kolanuts, gaari).
Egbedore Local Government’s exhibition stall attracted significant attention from investors and participants, who praised the quality and potentials of their local products.
The exhibition highlighted the area’s rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit.
The HLAs, expressed thier gratitude to the state government for the opportunity to showcase Egbedore Local Government’s products and the local investments.
“This summit has opened doors for us to access new markets, investors, and partnerships.
We look forward to working with the state government to drive growth and development in our area.”
The summit’s outcome includes-Signing of MoUs with international companies for industrial parks, innovation hubs, and special economic zone,-,Launching of the Osun State Investment Promotion Agency, Unveiling the state’s five-year economic development plan
