NULGE Ifelodun Area Council Inaugurates Staff Mini Clinic

The Caretaker Committee of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ifelodun Area Council Chapter today inaugurated a mini Staff Clinic at the Council Secretariat, Iba.

The facility which incorporates some medical equipment for testing Blood Pressure and varieties of essential drugs was provided by the Executives for the use of members of staff of the Area Council.

Speaking at the epoch-making event, the Osun State NULGE President Dr. Nathaniel Ogungbangbe represented by the State Welfare Officer, Comrade Taofeeq Adepoju congratulated the local NULGE executives and the entire workforce for this wonderful initiative and commitment towards creating healthy and enabling environment to work in.

He gave kudos to the branch executives for their doggedness and selfless service to humanity.

Similarly, the Head of Local Government Administration of the Council Area, Mr. Cornelius Olasunkanmi expressed his gratitude to the present NULGE executives and assured them of Management’s readiness to support the initiative by providing monthly funds for procuring drugs for the use of the workers of the Council with a view to keeping the programme going.

While delivering his speech at the occasion, the branch Caretaker Chairman, Comrade Ajao appreciated the State NULGE for its support in making the programme a reality .

He thanked other executives for working in harmony with him to put this very good legacy in place.

He therefore appealed to the Management of Ifelodun Area Council to support the programme financially as he said the NULGE Chapter could only do within the ambits of its available resources.

Other dignitaries at the event included the management team of Ifelodun Area Council Iba, the State NULGE Auditor 1, Comrade Kola Fadairo, Comrade Akin Abiona and the State NULGE Trustee, Comrade Ajewole Lawal.
