The Zonal Chairman of Police /Community Relations Committee(Zone XI) , Otunba Obafemi Arowosola has today cautioned the organisers of the proposed Nationwide hunger protest to desist in order to prevent unforseen circumstances.
The. Chairman described the decision as ill-timed dangerous for our democracy.
According to him, the fresh memory of #End SARS protest in 2020 still lingers on where the protest was hijacked and many innocent Nigerians lost their lives and property.
Chief Arowosola therefore called on security operatives across the nation to ensure that security of lives and property are guaranteed.
He therefore calls for prayers for the nation and charged the organisers to believe in the programmes and policies of the present administration believing that the country will still be back on its right path.
It would be recalled that some Nigerians have proposed a hunger protest tagged #End Bad Governance# between August 1 and 10.
Zone XI comprises of Oyo and Osun States.
