Olorunda Council Boss Motivates Workers with Cash Award

In furtherance to his efforts at motivating and encouraging the workers of Olorunda Local Government, the Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Obafemi Kolade, has presented cash award to three members of staff of the council.
The best staff award which is billed for every month, witnessed the emergence of Mr Tajudeen Adebayo of Works department, Mrs Romoke Adebisi of Water and Environmental Sanitation Department and Mrs Adigun Sharikat of Town Planning department.
Earlier in her speech, the Head of Local Government Administration of the Council, Barrister Kikelomo Oyebade, appreciated the Chairman for the gesture and also use the opportunity to enjoin the workers to be more proactive in their service.
The HLA also used the opportunity to congratulate the workers on the outcome of the supreme court judgement that granted they full autonomy to the third tier of the government.
While addressing the workers, the Chairman, Hon. Kolade also rejoiced with the workers on the newly granted autonomy to all Local Governments in Nigeria. He said with the new development, the best staff award is just one of many good things to come .
The council chairman then charged all workers to take work very serious and important as he promised his government will always make workers welfare a priority.
The presentation of cash award which was witnessed by all workers in the council was performed by the Chairman and the Head of Local Government Administration, Barrister Kikelomo Oyebade.
Part of the highlights of the programme was the “Health Talk” which was delivered by the director of Primary Health Care department, Dr Olaoye.
Dr Olaoye spoke extensively on how people can live hygiene and healthy life.
Department of information and Comrade Lukman Olakuleyin NULGE led administration also sponsored recharge card winning to add glamour to the best staff award programme.
