Boripe Local Government Boss Trains Food Vendors in Iragbiji.

In a bid to ensure hygenic and healthy living the chairman of,Boripe Local Government, Iragbiji Hon. Kayode Babalola has trained 100 food vendors within the council area.
The 3 day training programme which was coordinated by department of Water and Environmental Sanitation held at the council secretariat in Iragbiji.
The Director of Water and Environment Sanitation, Mrs. Abolarinwa Alice who supervised the training ensured that all the food vendors are medically fit and certified as a qualified food vendors after passing through prescribed health tests.
The training was in conjunction with of Nigeria Fire services, waste managers, medical officers on family planing, medical laboratory and other state environmental health officers.
During the presentation of certificate to all food vendors, Mrs. Abolarinwa Alice appreciated them for honouring the invitation and the way they comport and encouraged them to follow the guidelines and knowledge acquired.
“As a certified food vendor, you should be able to prepare delicious food for the people, avoid preparation of food in a bad environment that may lead to spreading of contagious diseases among the residents” she added.
She advised that those who are yet to do family planning should do so to prevent unwanted pregnancy among married women.
The caretaker chairman of Boripe Local Government, Iragbiji, Hon. Kayode Babalola while responding thanked department of water and environment sanitation for the training and congratulated all certified food vendors and advised them to remember all the knowledge they have acquired during the training.
Mrs Oluremi Adeyemi,one of the trained vendors commended government decision to train them and promised to be alive to their responsibilities.
Those at the event are the Head of Local Government administration, Builder Tijani Olalekan and all other departmental directors in Boripe Local Government, Iragbiji.
