It is no more news that Osin State Governor State Senator Ademola Ade leke dissolved the Community Development Council executives across the state and ordered for a fresh election
On this note, election was conducted in Ede East LCDA, with the voters and contestants in full attendance .
The election process was conducted under a peaceful and conducive atmosphere with no chaotic reports whatsoever .
The election was a free and fair one as the voters were happy that their various candidates won the different positions contested for.

Mr. Lateef Adedapo who
represented the Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Olaoluwa encouraged members not to rest their oars in their quests for community development tasks before them
The newly elected CDC Chairman Mr Sumonu Waliu in his response, appreciated the Caretaker Chairman Hon. Hassan Oyetunji Oyelola and his cabinet members for their their trust, love and support and for giving him the opportunity to serve.
He promised not to disappoint them all, but to deliver handsomely on the given task assigned to him.
He also urged his members to be of good optimistic in his administration as he believed God will help him not to lead them astray .
“I hold my people’s welfare dear to my heart , I will do my best possible to put smiles on the faces of my people.”,the statement added.
Present at the event were officials from the ministry , the Director of Social Development and Information ,(Mrs Olufunke Bolanle Ajetumobi) Ede East LCDA Staff amongst others.
