Community Development Council of Osogbo West LCDA Elects New Executives

The Community Development Council of Osogbo West Local council Development Area held her election recently
The state government has earlier dissolved all CDC executives across the state.
The election was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere at the local government secretariat premises Oke Arungbo.
The delegates from all the communities under Osogbo West LCDA started coming as early as 8:00am and the accreditation commenced immediately.
After the accreditation, the Director of Social Development and Information of Osogbo West LCDA Mrs Jimoh Ganiyat Adeola who presided over the election as the returning officer enlightened the delegates and the electorates on how the whole process would be.
She also admonished the community members to allow peace to reign during and after the election.
The election was free and fair even though the law enforcement agencies were on ground to maintain orderliness.
The returning officer announced the names of the new Executives as follows:
Pastor Moses Adeola Alabi – Chairman
Mrs Mujidat A. Kareem – Vice Chairman
Mrs Ayoade Adenikan – Secretary
Mr Kolawole Oladipupo – Assistant Secretary
Mrs Oyekola Risikat – Treasurer
Mr Oladele Adewale – Financial Secretary
Mr Azeez Alimi – PRO
Alhaji Tiamiyu Olabode – Project Coordinator
Mrs Adeniyi Shade- Women Rep
Mr Dele Omifare – Auditor
The newly elected Community Development Council Chairman Pastor Moses Alabi in his response appreciated the caretaker chairman of the local government Honourable Femi Mojeed Saka the management and staff of Osogbo West LCDA for their support in conducting a free and fair election.
He also solicited for cooperation from the new executive members under Osogbo West Local Council Development Area.
