Prominent Traditional Ruler Laid to Rest in Osun

The remains of the late Oludo of Ido Osun Oba Arc. Barr. Aderemi Adeen Adedapo the Olojudo Alayemore of Ido-Osun laid to rest on Saturday 25th of May at his ancestral home according to Islamic rites.**
Islamic prayer for the deceased, was led by Sheikh Abdul Muideen Ajani Bello ( Oniwasu Agbaye )
Oludo, who reigned for 19 years, died at the age of 71 on Friday 17 th of May 2024, at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile Ife. Osun State, after a brief illness.
Present to witness the late monarch’s burial is the Osun State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, who led a delegation of the State Executive Council to the burial.
The council of Obas in Osun State was led by Prince Abimbola Adegboyega Ogunwusi, representing Oba Oni of Ile – Ife.
While the Adviser on School Monitoring Hon. Akinwale Ajetomobi paid host to the dignitaries who joined to pay their last respects to the departed monarch
At the occasion were also the three Caretaker Chairmen from Egbedore, Hon. Adesanya Okunade ( Egbedore L / Gvt Awo ), Hon. Adeleke Sakiru Adeolu ( Egbedore South LCDA ), Hon. Prince Olalekan Mosheed Olawale ( Egbedore Adminstrative Office )
Adedeji Adedapo, one of the late Oba’s son describe his father as a visionary leader, a bridge builder, selfless, bold and courageous. He said it still felt like a bad dream that his father was gone.
The late Oludo is survived by wives, other sons and daughers, and grandchildren.
