Osun NULGE President Advocates for investment on Children as Nigerians Celebrate Children Day
Osun state NULGE president, Dr. Nathaniel Ogungbangbe
has admonished parents to invest in their children in order to enjoy them in the nearest future.
In a statement by his media aide Felix Francis, Ogungbangbe insisted that every child is special and parents must treat them rightly.
He stated further that it is necessary to also provide the children with basic needs of life such as shelter, food, health and education, as they are priceless gifts from God.
Dr. Ogungbangbe , who expressed concern over the level at which children are involved in various forms of social vices, maintained that parents and guardians must rise to the task of inculcating good morals in their children and wards
He charged parents to continually keep them in their prayers for God to keep them and direct their paths as they grow into responsible adults that will bring pride and honor to themselves.
Ogungbangbe said it’s the responsibility of the parents in taking good care and training of their children for the betterment of the children and future of the state,
He also seized the opportunity to commend the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for transforming Osun State.
“To Asiwaju of Ede land, Governor Ademola Adeleke Nurudeen, We shall continue to value your courage in ongoing efforts in making sure that Osun State becomes one of the developed states in Nigeria, and continue to have global recognition in terms of the available resources in the state such as Agriculture, Tourism, etc.” he concluded
