Isokan Local Government Chairman Commissions Health Care Centre

....warns residents against quackery

The Chairman Isokan Local Government, Honourable Azeez Adeniran has commissioned a maternity centre at Awotedo area of Apomu.

The maternity centre which was initiated by the last administration was constructed by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing to cater for the health needs of the citizens.

Speaking at the occasion, Honourable Adeniran thanked the state governor, Senator ADEMOLA ADELEKE for the support given to make the center a dream comes true.

He described the present administration as the best thing that ever happened to People’s Democrat Party (PDP) in Osun State and the entire state as a whole.

He added that governance is a continuous process, since Democracy is the government of the people by the people and for the people, noting that there should not be any abandoned projects.

The Director of Primary Health Care Mrs Taibat Ogunleyein while delivering her speech admonished people to make efficient use of the health centre and stop patronizing the quacks who have little or no knowledge about health matters.

The Head of local Government Administration, Mrs Ikeola Adedeji, appreciated the Chairman and all his cabinets for the great initiative and achievement.

She thereafter encouraged the health workers assigned to work at the centre not to disappoint the people of Awotedo community, because they have been clamouring for a medical centre for a very long time.
