Hon Afolabi Lukman Hosts Senior Executive Course 46, 2024 of NIPSS in Ede

The Caretaker Chairman of Ede South Local Government, Honourable Afolabi Lukman Oyekola played host to the Participants of Senior Executive Course 46, 2024 of the National Institute For Policy And Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Plateau State in his Office.
Hon. Afolabi who is also the ALGON Secretary in the State while welcoming the Team led by Commodore Godwin Obaje mni said he was delighted that Ede South Local Government was one of the selected Local Government to be visited during their stay in Osun .
He assured them that Osun State was number one in terms of peaceful co-existence.
During the interactive session, Hon. Afolabi used the occasion to appreciate the institute for their immense contribution to the development of the country and said their contribution is immeasurable urging them not to relent in their effort to make this Country great again.
He further highlighted the achievements of the State government under the Leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke which includes renovation of schools across the State; equipping hospitals with drugs: construction of roads and overhead bridges in all the Senatorial Districts which is ongoing;sinking of boreholes in all the 342 wards in the State and many others to mention a few.
He said there is cordial relationship between the State government and all the Chairmen of the Local Councils.
He said as the Chairman of Ede South Local Government, he has delivered dividend of democracy to his people within his short time in office such as Drilling of five boreholes within the Local Government Area. ;Grading of roads across the the Local Government area :total renovation of 6 blocks of classroom in Y.T.D Agbangudu,, changing of damaging electric poles,; Dredging of river in Ayedun Community in Collaboration with the State Ministry of Environment,: Complete renovation of Local Government Secretariat and offices and provision of office furniture for the conducive working environment of Staffers,.construction of Maternity centre at Fiwasaye Community in collaboration with Osun CSDA.
Hon. Afolabi reiterated his commitment to do more for the benefit of the good people of Ede South Local Government.
