Wife of Ife Central West LCDA Chairman launches Renewed Hope Initiatives in Ilare,Ife

The wife of the caretaker chairman of Ife Central West LCDA ,Mrs Folorunso Ganiyat has launched the renewed hope initiative programme ,a pet of the First Lady of the nation,Mrs Oluremi Tinubu at the local government secretariat, Ilare, Ile Ife.
In her opening address, she reiterated her commitment to ensure that the people of the LCDA have access to quality health care, education and sustainable agricultural practices.
She said that the aim of the renewed hope initiative is to enhance the well- being of women and female child in the society.
She appreciated the Osun State first lady,Chief Mrs Titi Adeleke for launching the project at State level.
She also appreciated her husband Hon. Ayobami Folorunso, members of his cabinet, the HLGA and the directors for their support.
There were also short addresses by the Director of Social Department and information and the Director of Agriculture of the LCDA. The Director of Agriculture, Mr Samuel Adetunji.
In his speech ,Mr Adetunji emphasized the importance and necessity of women involvement in agriculture.
He said that it will go a long way in helping families. He further told them that the initiative is ready to support any woman who wants to invest in agriculture.
The HLGA of the council, Alhaji, Isiska Adeniran, commended the Ife Central West LCDA first lady for her efforts on the renewed hope initiative programme.
He pledged his support for any project that will improve the lives of the people at the grassroots level.
The chairperson later disbursed seeds to twenty four women in agriculture in the LCDA.
In attendance at the programme were the caretaker chairman of the LCDA, members of staff of the LCDA and representatives of women in the LCDA.
