Ifelodun Local Government Chairman Lays Foundation of Ultra Modern Shopping Complex in Ikirun.

In order to boost economic activities and improve internally generated revenue in Ikirun and its environ, the Caretaker Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government and Chairman , Association of local government Chairman of Nigeria, (ALGON) Osun State, Honourable Sarafadeen Awotunde has laid the foundation of an ultra modern Shopping Complex sited in front of Local Government Secretariat,Ikirun,Osun State
During the foundation laying ceremony he appreciated the people for always supporting his administration and used the occasion to inform the people of Ikirun that his administration would continue to design programmes and policies that would have direct impact on the lives of people.
The council boss stated that the People Democratic Party (PDP) led government in Osun State would do everything possible to brings the dividends of democracy to the people’s doorsteps.
He also noted that the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke at the state level has spent a huge amount of money on the provision of meaningful developmental projects in the state.
He therefore solicited for the mutual understanding and cooperation of his management team in the implementation of government programmes and policies for the betterment of the populace.
Present at the occasion were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Musibau Onilewura, Secretary, Hon. Toyin Adebayo, Ward Caretaker Members, Head of Local Government Administration, Com. Adegboyega Ojo, Director of Finance, mr Tajudeen Oladapo ,Director of Works, Engineer Kayode Ojerinde, Director of Social development and information, Mrs Solagbade Motunrayo, Director of Administration, Mrs. Salawudeen Muinat, other Directors of various departments, party leaders and religious leaders.
