Hon Akogun dissolves CDC in Ifelodun Area Council

The Caretaker Chairman, Ifelodun Area Council Iba, Akogun Adebimpe Ganiyu has announced the dissolution of the Area Council’s Community Development Council Executive Council.
According to the Area Council chairman,the dissolution came sequel to the directive of the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Jackson Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke where he directed the Chairmen of Local Governments, Local Council Development Areas and Area Councils to dissolve the Executive Councils of Community Development Council (CDC) in their respective Council areas.
While addressing members of the Council Area’s CDC, Alhaji Ganiyu Adebimpe thanked the members and the outgone executives for their wonderful performances in pivoting and
initiating Community self-help projects across the area council. He emphasized that the present administration in the State is working tirelessly to make life more meaningful for its people and would not relent until the plans are achieved. He then assured the people of the Area Council of the State governor’s readiness to embark on meaningful projects across the state that would have direct and positive impacts on the lives of all and sundry.
While reacting to the Council Chairman’s speech, Mr. Adeboye Alex, a resident of Obaagun thanked the Chairman and urged the management of the Area Council to intensify their efforts in making the dividends of democracy reach the nooks and crannies of the Area Council. He then assured the chairman of their unflinching support for the administration of Governor Adeleke.
Present at the occasion are the caretaker committee members, Director of Social Development and information, Mr Hemi Adeyemo and other dignitaries.
