Olorunda LG Boss Commissions Modern Abattoir

The Caretaker chairman of Olorunda Local Government, Hon Obafemi Kolade has charged butchers in the Local Government to make good use of the newly renovated Abattoir for their use.

Hon Obafemi made this statement while addressing butchers association and party faithfuls at Sabo area of Osogbo during the official commissioning of the facility.

Hon Obafemi appreciated the Executive Governor of Osun State Senator (Dr) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for appointing him to serve the people of the council and promised to do more.

The ALGON Chairman in the state,Hon Sarafadeen Awotunde(Spain) admonished the residents to make good use of the site and protect it in order to stand a test of time.

A party chieftain and Chairman ,Osun State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board,Elder Funso Isola,in his goodwill message commended the council Chairman for running a people oriented programme.

He further solicited for cooperation and support of all residents and party members to ensure that Hon Obafemi achieves more feat during his administration.

The Party chairman in the local Government,Hon Nurudeen Hamzat assured the residents of more dividends of democracy from People Democratic Party led administration on the Local Government.

The council Head of Local Government Administration,Barrister (Mrs) Kikelomo Oyebade implored users of the facility to reciprocate the good gesture of the Chairman by paying required fees to boost Internally Generated revenue of the Council.

While responding,The Seriki of Butchers Association, Alhaji Dauda Olore eulogises the activities of the council Chairman and assured them of making good use of the facility.

The Chairmen of Olorunda North Local Council Development Area,Ota Efun ,Hon Ayo Adeyemo and his counterpart from Olorunda Area Council,Illie,Hon Raifu Fasola also graced the occasion.

The event was also attended by other members of caretaker committee,Directors and senior officers from the council,religious and Community leaders.
