Governor Adeleke Promises Collaborative Effort to Ensure Probity and Accountability.

The Executive Governor of Osun State,Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has assured the state House of Assembly collaborative effort at ensuring probity and accountability in state governance.
The Governor made this remark while delivering his address at the fourth edition of Public Account Committee-Supreme Auditing Institution and stakeholders retreat held at Aenon Suites and Hotels,Osogbo recently.
The Executive Governor who was represented by his Deputy,Prince Kola Adewusi assured the participants government readiness to create an enabling environment for all stakeholders in accounting process.
The Auditor General for Local Government,Mr Emmanuel Kolapo who spoke on behalf of his contemporary from the state ,Mr Kolapo Moruf Idris chronicled the achievements recorded by the state placing it above many states of the federation.
He stated that the state has a robust Audit law which other state are copying and the duties of Public Account committee are clear in the constitution.
The honourable speaker of Osun State,Rt Hon Adewale Olumide Egbedun emphasised the need to do everything humanly possible so that everyone in the state can thrive .
The Vice Chairman ,Public Account Committee,Osun State House of Assembly,Hon Oladimeji Adekunle charged all participants to be committed to a behavioural pattern aimed at moving the state forward.
The Chairman,forum of Head of Local Government Administration,Dr Wale Adedapo assured the state Government of their readiness to adhere strictly to the principle of probity and accountability of public account.
Mr Olaoye Sunday,Chairman forum of Directors of Finance and Supplies appealed to the state Government to look into usurpation of roles of Local Government by the state in terms of revenue generation.
