Ejigbo Council Boss Declares Intention to Develop the Council Area

The Caretaker Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government,Osun State, Hon Alh Raimi Isah Sola has demonstrated his readiness to give Ejigbo Local Government a face lift in the committee of other Local Governments in the State.
Less than a month of his appointment by Osun State Governor,, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke,the Chairman and his team have begun serious developmental moves to address infrastructural decay in the ancient town.
The Council Secretariat which has been in total darkness for more than ten years caught the attention of the council boss and immediately took step to re-fix the council electricity.
He also released funds for the purchase of three prepaid meters to further prevent indiscriminate disconnection of light in the council.
In furtherance to this, the council boss immediately directed Works Department to commence grading the bad portion of the Oko road, Infront of the A.D.S Grammar School, stone filling all the pot holes in the area and dredging of the blocked drainage in front of the council secretariat.
He also directed some spots on Boosa road be looked into.
While reacting to the question raised by the information unit of the council on how he managed to get these works done within a short period of time,Hon. Sofoluwe alluded this said, he can achieve their within a short period of time because, the governor has mandated them to start work immediately.
“I can achieve these two projects in the second week of my assumption into the office because, the people’s Governor, H.E Sen Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has given us a matching order to go to our various local government and make the growth and development a rapid one’,he added.
His excellency did not charge us alone, he provided a very favourable atmosphere to thrive and perform excellently well.” Sofoluwe concluded..
