Ife East LG Chairman Calls for Dedication

The Caretaker Chairman, Ife East Local Government, Prince Haruna Odunyemi has called on the members of staff of the Local Government to be dedicated to their duties, and always be supportive to the present administration in the Local Government to enable the citizenry of the council area reap the dividends of democracy.

Honourable Haruna Odunyemi made this call in lle-ife on Monday during his maiden meeting with the staffers of the Local Government which held at the Conference Hall in the council secretariat.

The Local Government Chairman who spoke on his personal life,how he rose from zero to hero level admonished the staff to work conoily and conscenciously always hope in God who has the power to uplift in life.

According to him, “promotion neither comes from the east nor west,God is the judge who lifts up one and brings down another.”

He promised the workforce of the Local Government that his administration would be worker- friendly as staff welfare would be one of his priorities.

The Head of Local Government Administration,Engineer Jacob Adeyeye and the Chairman Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees Ife East Branch, Comrade Olaolu Odesanmi while speaking at the meeting assured the Local Government Chairman of staff’s unflinching support, loyalty,love and dedication to duties, adding that fervent prayers would continually be offered for the success of this new administration in the Local Government.

Present at the meeting were all the directors and deputy directors,sectional and unit heads and all members of staff of the Local Government.
