Ife South Council Boss Harps on Peace And Developmental Projects.

This was contained in a statement made by the Caretaker chairman of Ife South Local Government of Osun State Hon. Muyiwa Aroke Aderemi during inauguration of the newly appointed caretaker committee members held at the Local Government Secretariat Ifetedo.
Honourable Aderemi charged them to adequately enlighten the people to shun any act that can truncate peaceful coexistence of every individual living in the council area, having observed that any environment devoid of peace will not witness any meaningful development.
While supervising the administration of oath of office on the committee members by the director of Administration and general services ,Mr Dotun Oyelakin, Honourable Muyiwa thanked the Executive Governor of the state, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and the Leadership of the party for appointing him among many to pilot the affairs of the council.
He reminded them of the enormous task ahead and advised them to work together as a team to achieve desired goal and also emphasized on the essence of upholding the cardinal objectives of the Executive Governor of the state on the development of town and villages, by concentrating on essential needs of the people such as roads rehabilitation, electricity, drinkable water, good health care system, agriculture, education, youths and women development.
He therefore thanked the people for making judicious use of their votes by electing Candidate of their choice.

In their separate remarks, The Osun State House of assembly member Hon. Lekan Adeoti disclosed that all Laws and policies that would enable development of communities and villages will be made and ensure its implementation while Senatorial Leader Honorable Akindele Famuyide appealed to all and sundry to co-operate with the Local Government caretaker committee members to achieve tasks ahead since social economic development of any area is a collective responsibility;
He stated that, it is only through our unalloyed supports and co-operation that we can reach the Promised Land.
Meanwhile, The Head of Local Government Administration, Comrade Olatunde Bello, welcomed the new executives and promised them of staff cooperation and harmonious working relationship and prayed for the success of all caretaker committee members in the Council.
While appreciating on behalf of other executive members, Hon. Femi Agunloye expressed their gratitude to the state Governor Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on their appointment and expressed their readiness to support the State and Local Government to witness massive developments.
Present at the occasion are the PDP chieftains including Hon Abiodun Oyegoke, Caretaker Chairman of Ife south west LCDA Hon. Tijani Lukman community Stakeholders and religious leaders.
