Honourable Areoye Eulogises Atakunmosa West Central Council Boss

Honourable Areoye Sanmi Ebenezer, House of Assembly Member Representing Atakunmosa East and West State Constituency admonished Head of Local Government Administration, Atakunmosa West Central LCDA, Mrs Olarewaju Elizabeth Tejumade, for the dedicated programmes such as procurement of office materials, renovation and construction of government public facilities executed by the Head of Local Government Administration and her team.
Honourable Areoye admonished the laudable projects as the projects were centered on the extension of the democratic dividends to the people of his constituency.
He thanked the people’s Governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State for creating enabling environment for the Council boss to sustain the democratic dividends at the grassroots.
Hon Areoye commended His Excellency for his steadfastness and unwavering commitment towards the growth and development of our dear State.
In her welcome address, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs Olarewaju Elizabeth Tejumade thanked Almighty God for his sustainance at all times and made it possible to witness the commission of these projects.
She eulogised the amiable Governor, His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke as a visionary and quintessential leader who is committed to life of service, absolute dedication to the growth of democracy, advocacy of true Federalism, the rule of law and development of Osun State.
She emphasised the remarkable achievements recorded within few months of his administration which speak volume especially as they affect all spheres of human life.
The Council boss expressed her gratitude to the Honourable Areoye Sanmi Ebenezer, Member, House of Assembly Representing Atakunmosa East and West State Constituency, for accepting the clarion call to commission the developmental projects executed between December 2022 till date.
She also thanked his Royal Majesty, Oba Hezekiah Adeniyi Owolola, Adimula of Ifewara, other Obas and Chiefs for their support and fatherly advice at all times.
Mrs Olarewaju equally thanked all the Directors and Staff of Atakunmosa West Central LCDA for their love, cooperation, dedication and unity of purpose which helped to make the conceived ideas to become a reality and admonished them to continue to be dedicated to their duties.
Honourable Areoye Sanmi after commissioing the projects expressed his appreciation to the management team of Atakunmosa West Central LCDA for the thoughtfulness brought to bear in the provision of these essential services to the people at the grassroots, which is quite a laudable achievements being registered on the people’s consciousness.
Among the commissioned projects were:
Construction and Renovation of two toilets;
reconstruction of line drainage at Olorunda market, Ifewara;
re-roofing of two open stalls at Temidire market, Ifewara; procurement of furniture; seven executive tables,16 office tables for senior officers, 7 revolving chairs for directors,14 visitors chairs for directors, 30 chairs for officers, 3 office iron cabinets, 3 open shelves for administration, registry and Finance, two wooden cabinets,one-set of upholstery chair, one centre table with four stools.
Others are purchase of two laptops for Administration and Finance Departments, purchase of photocopy machine, stabilizers and other appliances,printing of office materials such as file jacket, Time book, Log book, Record of Service Card, etc.,levelling of mountainneous heaps within the Secretariat,

Also,Mrs Olarewaju led administration purchased 3 Boxer motorcycles for Town Planning, Finance and WES Departments with mini-repair of Corpers’ lodge.
Her administration also gave attention to procurement of Staff identity card,purchase of six Ox fans,clearing of road verges from Ifewara to Iwara and Ife road boundarie and procurement of lawn mower and many others.
Present at the occasion were Kabiyesi Onimelu of Imelu, Oba Adebisi Yekinni, PDP chairman, Atakunmosa West, Honourable Bunmi Farodoye, Party Stalwarts, traditional chiefs and many others.
