Gov Adeleke Swears in New Permanent Secretaries

The Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has sworn in 29 new Permanent Secretaries in the State
It was an epoch making event as governor Adeleke inaugurated new Permanent Secretaries in the State
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the State Local Government Service Commission hall, Abere.
Osun state council of Obas ,led by Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi was represented by Sooko Adegboyega Ogunwusi.
Governor Adeleke,in his welcome address, reinstated his commitment to deliver good governance and his readiness to work assiduously to reposition civil service in the State
The governor also charged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to be loyal and committed to the administration in complementing Government effort at realizing the implementation of the integral action plans of the present government.
Earlier in his speech, the state Head of Service, Mr Ayanleye Aina thank God almighty and Mr Governor that makes it possible to end the infamous era of Coordinating• Directors in the State Civil Service.
Mr Aina recalled that it was in 2012 that the State witnessed appointment of Permanent Secretaries last.
He further charged the newly appointees to contribute their best to complement the effort of the state Government.
The appointees are: Kolawole N. Akintola, Adesina T. Okandeji, Adebayo S. Raji, Akeem A. Bello, Yetunde A. Esan (Mrs), Kehinde J. Odediran (Mrs), Bashir I. Bello (Engr), Isiaka A. Adekunle (Dr), Murtala A.K Jimoh, Mobolaji F. Olaoye (Dr), Modupe O. Irelewuyi (Mrs), Ayodele O. Babalola, Olufemi Ogundun, Morufu A. Olawale, Gbemisola Fayoyin (Mrs), Abayomi Oni (Dr), Olawuni T. Oladele, others are Sunday O. Fadele, Oladapo O. Fasina, Olusoji S. Wojuade, Abimbola B. Babatunde (Mrs), Rufus A. Oyegbemi, Mudasiru O. Oyedeji, Taiwo O. Oladunjoye (Mrs), Olusola S. Ajao, Bukola O. Jolayemi, Fatai T. Adekilekun, Ibrahim Akibu, Adeoye R. Popoola.
Mr Governor also confirmed the appointments of Surveyor Soladoye Abioye as substantive Surveyor General and Mr Ijiyemi Ijidele as substantive Statistician General of the State respectively.
Mr Governor equally approved the rights and privileges of a Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service to be accorded the Director General of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation henceforth, towards efficient service delivery in the corporation.
While rendering vote of thanks, Mrs Yetunde Esan on behalf of other appointees thanked Mr Governor and reassured him of more commitment in enhancing good service delivery.
