Osun Head of Service Harps newly Converted Officers on Service Delivery

The Head of Service in Osun state, Mr. Olaleye Aina has charged the newly converted officers in the Local Government Service to be up to the task in their various new assignments.

The admonition was given yesterday during the induction/orientation course organised and conducted by Osun State Local Government Service Commission at the Local Government Service Commission Multipurpose Hall, State Secretariat, Abeere-Osogbo.

Mr Aina charged all the officers not to be indolent in their schedule of duties and encouraged them to develop themselves as often as possible.

In his welcoming address, the Coordinating Director of the Commission, Barrister Lekan Babalola thanked the Governor of Osun state, His Excellency Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and the Head of Service, Mr. Olaleye Aina for approving the programme which is first of its kind .

The orientation course for newly converted officers in Osun state service is designed to acquaint newly converted officers to master ethics of the job.

He further admonished all the inductees to be dutiful and responsible in their various assignments.

Besides, the Secretary of the Forum of Directors of Social Development, Information, Education, Culture, Youth & Sport department and immediate past Osun state Secretary of Nigeria Union of Journalists Comrade Bukola Elufadejin implored all the inductees to be up and doing and not let their employer down.

Onbehalf of all the inductees, an Information Officer from Olorunda Local Government, Mrs. Latifat Adebayo appreciated the kind gesture of the government and promised that the officers will reciprocate the good gesture of the present administration in Osun State.
