Osun NUJ Chairman bags Award of Excellence

Youth Reformer Initiative(YRI) has honoured the Chairman of Osun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu in Osogbo on Sunday.
The 7th Edition of Osun Youth Ambassadors Award 2022(OYAA) attracted dignitaries from all walks of life.
Comrade Ajadosu received the award of Excellence in the field of Journalism alongside other eighteen Awardees who have equally excelled in their various fields.
The convener of the Youth Reformer Initiative ,Aminat Ajibola while delivering her welcome address said the award is meant to celebrate excellent contributions of young minds from Osun State at home and diaspora in various fields of entrepreneurship,entertainment,innovations,community service ,journalism and agriculture among others.
The guest speaker at the event,Prof.Owolabi Sunday,Former Deputy Chancellor,Babcock University who spoke on a topic ” Nigerian Youth and National Development” expressed his dissatisfaction on the ways some youths in this generation are too desperate to make money without bothering on its attendant consequences.
He further charged them to be more involved in nation building and national development.
The royal father of the dayAragbiji of Iragbiji ,Oba Abdul Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi appealed to Youths to contribute their quota in developing the nation.
