Egbedore Area Council Gets New Political Boss

The Ancient town of Okinni , the seat of Egbedore Area Council rolledl out drum as the residents elected another set of political office holders to administer government at the grassroots.
The executive chairman, Hon. Uzamat Azeez Ademola sworn in newly elected councillor Hon Sanjo Fowowe at the premises of the Secretariat Complex , Egbedore Area council, Okinni. after he had been sworn in by the Governor, state of Osun, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola at the State Secretariat ,Bola Ige house,Abere,Osogbo in the early hour of Monday.
It will be recalled that the Local government election was conducted in the state for sixty nine chairman’s seats and over three hundred wards councilors by the Osun state Electoral commission headed by Otunba Oladitan on the 15th October, 2022.
In his address, the chairman, honourable Uzamat Ademola glorified God for his victory in the last Saturday local government election.
He enjoined members of the communities in Egbedore Area council to continue in the manner of support given to the present Administration in the state of Osun as well promised to do his best to ensure the whole populace enjoy dividends of democracy.
The chairman admonished the newly sworn in councillor to be ready to serve the people of the area council with all his strength.
Hon Uzamot Ademola also appreciated all the political leaders and members of All Progressive party (APC) both at the local and state levels for always being supportive towards the progress of the party.
The wife of the chairman,Alhaja Monsurat Ademola was at the occasion with other party faithfuls.
The Head of Local Government , Alhaji Tajudeen Olabomi appreciated the present Administration for their co operation with career officers.

The head of Local government highlighted some of the achievements of the chairman during his first tenure ranging from provision of offices with furnitures; purchase of official cars for top career officers;
purchase of motorcycles for the department of town planning for convenience in carring out their duties .
