“Work Together as a team* Council boss advises newly sworn in political office holders.

The executive Chairman, Egbedore Local Government, Hon. Akinwale Yisau Olaniyi, has sworn in the newly elected Vice Chairman and eight councillors of the Council.
The inauguration of the political office holders was sequel to the swearing in of 69 Chairmen in all local governments across the state which was performed by Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State.
The occasion held at the NULGE Hall in the premises of the council in Awo, was attended by politicians across the length and breadth of the council.
There was also the election of principal officers among the new councillors.
Hon. Adenuga Nurat Omolara emerged as the Leader, while Hon. Sulaiman Adewale was elected as the Deputy Leader of the house.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs Abiola Felicia Olabimtan, oversaw the swearing in ceremony.
While welcoming the newly elected Political Office holders and their well wishers, Mrs Olabimtan, expressed her gratitude to God for making the day a reality and for counting the newly sworn-in officers worthy to serve the people of Egbedore Local Government Area.
She thereafter congratulated them and assured them of the total support of the career officers in the council.
In his remark, the Council Chairman, Hon Akinwale Yisau Olaniyi expressed his appreciation to God for counting him and the newly sworn-in elected officers into Egbedore Local Government.
The council helmsman also congratulated and charged them all for a selfless service to their people.
He further commended the Local Government staff for giving them a rousing welcome to the Local Government, he then solicited for the staff unflinching support and co-operation for his administration for them to be able to serve their people.

The chairman also advised the elected councillors to always work as one as it is the only way they can achieve together.
Present at the event are All Progressives Congress Party Chairman in the council, Alhaji Funso Oyewumi, Party executives, Directors in the nine Departments of the Council and well wishers from the nooks and crannies of the Local Government.
