Barrister Ogunsola assures residents of Ilobu good governance

Ayeni Enitan, Ilobu.

The Chairman of Irepodun Local Government, Ilobu. Honorable Barrister Ogunsola Rauf Adegoke has assured residents of Ilobu, Osun State better governance as he swears in other political office holders in the council.

The chairman made this remark while swearing-in ten elected Councillors at the council secretariat.

The Head of Local Government Administration in the Local Government; Mrs Toyin Eye felicitated with the new Chairman, and his new cabinet members on their success in the just concluded Local Government election.

Mrs Toyin Eye while appreciating the Council Boss charged the newly elected Political functionaries to deliver the dividend of democracy to the electorates, and the staff of the Local Governmen

She assured the Chairman and the Councillors of the maximum support of all members of staff.

The Chairman Swore in his Vice, Honorable Adekunle Saheed, and Honorable Ali Adebukola Adegbite who was later elected as Leader of the house.

Administration of the Oath of Allegiance on the Councillors was performed by the Clerk of the House.

The Chairman; Barrister Ogunsola Rauf Adegoke in his speech, thanked Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for taking the bull by the horns in making sure that the election was conducted.

He commended the leader of the house, Honourable Bakare Tajudeen, the deputy leader of the house, the youth leader and all the leadership of APC, for their support at this crucial time of the party.

Welfare of the staff of Irepodun Local Government will not be neglected, but want them to stay clear of Politics.

According to him, politics should be left for the politicians, not the civil servants .

In his closing remark, the Deputy Leader of the House, Honorable Bakare Tajudeen thanked Almighty Allah for making the programme a success and wish all present mercy journey to their respective homes.
