Odo Otin South LCDA boss pledges support for the primary health care service delivery
The Catetaker Chairman Odo Otin South Local Council Development Area, Inisa, Hon. Abdulwasiu Ayodele Adepoju has promised his administration’s support in areas of synergy, partnership, engagement of ad-hoc staff, collaboration and other responsibilities sharing to the Health workers in the Local government area
The Council boss gave this assurance while hosting the team of Primary Health Care workers led by Pharmacist Mrs Fasanu on immunization against the outbreak of measles in his office.
Hon. Ayodele said he believes in team work through participatory approach, total inclusiveness and promised to put all necessary machineries of government in motion to ensure he utilises the available resources efficiently and effectively within the spending limit and available resources of the Local Government.
He however sought their cooperation towards the success of the programme because Primary Health Care Service Delivery especially at the grassroots should be people friendly at the most affordable pricing with 100% accessibility, availability and people oriented for efficient and effective health care service delivery
While reacting, Pharmacist Mrs Fasanu,Olufunmilayo who is the Secretary of Primary Health Care in Odo-Otin Local Government said the campaign will be flagged off at a later date in November and will make use of primary health care workers as the programme will be vaccination by injection/injectables that will be administered by Qualified and Certified Health Workers in the Local Government and the State at large.
According to PHC Secretary, the programme will be segmented into three phases to capture all the towns and villages in the Local government with available health workers.
The Council Manager, Comrade Kehinde Adediran also promised to cooperate with the chairman in the areas of provision of logistics and enabling environment for the success of the program.
The team was led by Pharmacist Mrs Fasanu Olufunmilayo while other heads of departments including Head of Information and Social Department Mrs Omolara Makanjuola, Hod Administration, Mr. Bakare Razaq, and HOD Finance Mr. Adeniyi Amos
