OLORUNDA LG NULGE CHAIRMAN SALUTES COUNCIL BOSS ON CONSTRUCTION OF STAFF CANTEEN

The branch Chairman Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee, Olorunda ,Igbona Osogbo, Comrade Lukman Olaku has commended the caretaker Chairman of the council Alhaji Mojeed Adekunle Kudayisi for his support on the construction of a Staff Canteen within the secretariat premises .
Comrade Olaku made this remark while inspecting the ongoing project which is currently at roofing stage.
He applauded the council boss for assisting the Union to construct a modern canteen despite the meagre resources accrued to the Local Government from Federation account.
Recalled that the foundation laying ceremony was performed on the 20th of November, 2021 with the Council Manager, Barrister (Mrs) Kikelomo Oyebade and other political and public officers in attendance.
The project when completed will afford members of staff the opportunity to have a place within the secretariat for recreation and thereby enhancing efficiency in the service.
The NULGE boss further explained that the project will also boost Local Government internally generated revenue (IGR) since visitors will also be allowed to patronise the canteen.
‘This project will go a long way in making lives comfortable for our members and visitors which will eventually facilitate increase in Local Government IGR”the Statement added.
