Local Govenment Chapel launches website
Nigeria Union of Local Government Chapel in Osun State has launched its website.
The event which was declared open by the State NUJ Chairman,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu attracted Information Officers across all the Local Government in the state.
The Chairman of the chapel Dr Dapo Owolabi while delivering his welcome remarks appreciated the state Council for support in creating enabling environment to organise the training.
‘I wish to commend the state council for her regular support and level of turnout of our members despite the present economic situation.
Mr Sikiru Obarayese,an investigative journalist and Mr Abass Okandeji,a broadcast journalist and a blogger took time to put members through on the rules guiding news blogging.
‘This training has availed you all the opportunity to exploit the training for the development of grassroots governance’Mr Okandeji added.
Comrade Bukola Elufadejin,the state Council Secretary assured participants his readiness to encourage creativity and dispense mediocrity.
The blog site newsosunnujlg.com named OSUN LG VOICE was unveiled andmembers equipped with the tools to work with.
Participants expressed their satisfaction on the initiatives of the chapel Executives.
